Thanks to all the help and support from this forum, i've finally managed to developed my very first roll of film =D

TriX in Rodinal 1:50 for 13 minutes. Temp 22 degrees.
Agitated for first 30s then 10s every minute.
Scanned with Plustek 7600 with Silverfast (simple scan with everything disabled - no dust removal, no sharpening or levels)
No post processing.

This is just a test roll so forgive the weak images 😉
Here goes.....

I think i did ok with my first roll.
The scanner worked better than i thought too. I think image would 'pop' with a little bit of sharpening and levels/contrast adjustment.

All in all, i am rather happy with the end result. Thanks again to all of you.

great first results! The exposure and the developing look pretty spot on. If you can do it like that every time, you are golden. Just stick with the trix and rodinal combination until it is like second nature (assuming you are happy with it) before you go trying a whole bunch of other film/developer combos. Doing it once is a lot easier than doing it right and consistently every single time. Congrats again!

Uhh, ahhh, ohhh! What a great first roll! Congratulations! And a lot more fun to come too! There is some Tri-X in my fridge and some Rodinal under my kitchen sink. Maybe I should take a break from digital shooting.

Great job! Congrats! It's fun isn't it? I only recently learned how to do it myself. I've been using Diafine but I'm thinking of trying Rodinal.

I have the Plustek 7300 - pretty happy with it, but gotta say, didn't like the SilverFast software AT ALL. What a slow and clunky piece of crap (LOL). I've been using VueScan and it's MUCH nicer... much quicker and more user friendly.

You did a nice job! Look forward to seeing more from ya!

(btw, if you want to see some I developed in Diafine, it's here)
