Using a roll of 400 now. I'm shooting a 1/3 of it at 400, 1/3 at 800 and 1/3 at 1250 so when I develop I can see the differences (I'm developing in Diafine). Hope to finish up that roll soon.
Next I'm going to try is the Arista Premium 100. I know a lot of people say the 400 seems to be at its sweet spot when EI is set to 1250 (when processing in Diafine)... what is the sweet spot for Arista Premium 100?
Thanks all! I'm excited to develop my first roll... results coming very soon...

100 in Rodinal 1:50 or 1:100 or D-76 1:1. Possibly Xtol 1:3. I'll tell the world when I have tried tese 3 methods.

Amy,
I am also thinking of developing my own b&w film - Arista 400 with Diafine. So just want to let you know I am closely following your threads. BTW, did you get a plastic or stainless tank?
Cheers!

Hi Hyokjae,
I ended up with the plastic tank. I got two actually. I got a single reel Paterson, and 2-reel AP. I bought the 2nd one locally so I could practice while waiting for all the other stuff to get shipped here
Thanks Wayne... but I'm specifically looking for EI info when planning to develop Arista Premium 100 in Diafine.

Hi Amy,
Check this link: http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.php?Film=&Developer=Diafine&mdc=Search
Sweet spot according to them is ISO 400.

There is a good source of info on Diafine development from this gentleman:

He may sound enthusiastic, but for certain things Diafine really works.
Enjoy.
