Differences in character between Summarit 50mm 2.5 and Summicron 50

A tad nervous.

General observation question: why do photographers point out difficulty with backgrounds with "lesser" lenses but skip shooting the same background under precisely the same curcumstances with these so-called "greater" lenses? Eg: swap the lens out, don't move the tripod, use the same shutter speed and aperture.

Either because the difference is obvious, or maybe because someone else already did it. There's a great comparison between these exact lenses to find if you use your google-fu. 🙂

I'm not doubting your observations and experience with the summarit lens but if you recall where you saw the comparison online I'd really love to know, I fear my google black belt is a lighter shade than I thought.
