I have used the 1.3 MP version. Very cool. No real features... and the back sticks out as far as the main body. But it always starts conversations. Good pics to.
It's tempting at first glance, I think, but a bit of study reveals the warts. Fixed focus lens, for one, and almost no control over anything else. Cute though!
I'll probably (definitely) get flamed on this one, but that $450 can get you a Sigma SA7 SLR outfit including 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 and 70-300 f/4-5.6 macro zoom lenses.
in fact... I should go update my gear list because that's what I bought on a lunch break at work today (well, yesterday now).
LOL, congrats, Doug; that SA7 has some interesting technology. Would have been nice if they'd adopted the Pentax K mount, seems to me... as isn't there a shortage of prime lenses for it?
I have also been tempted by that one! but have you seen the mini Rolliflex digital?
I sepent a good twenty minutes last week in the shop with it and it seems to
me atleast, to have a better build. Plus the screen being inthe WLF is just so nice...

Sigma has a decent range of primes available, at least according to B&H Photo's website but you do have to step into the higher-quality, pricier lens line to get them. Most of the primes are wide-angle, but I'd really like to get the 50mm f/2.8 prime; macro capability and a range of f/2.8-45 is pretty sweet.
I've been looking at this camera for a while but hadn't been able to get my hands on one until yesterday. I have small hands so it's a fairly rare thing for me to find any SLR that is comfortable to hold and operate. The camera's ergonomics are very good, all the controls are well-laid out and make sense; I didn't even really have to crack the manual to figure things out. Autofocus speed is blazingly fast compared to any other SLR camera I've used before (I've not played with the top-end Canons or Nikons though) and the viewfinder is quite good. I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with this baby. In fact, my new toy and I will be hitting the Holden Arboretum shortly and we'll see if it lives up to the promise it's shown so far.

It's definitely a cute little guy and I like the waist-level LCD myself. Come to think of it, wouldn't a small digicam that looked and operated like a Hassy be fun?
