You bought the M6 for the mystique?
Then that is the one to sell.

I'd keep the ZM.

Wow -- lots of votes for keeping the ZM!
I will keep everyone posted. You might see a really clean M6 for sale in the RFF classifieds next week.

Use the heck out of the Ikon and keep the M6 unless you need the cash. Seeing how used M6 prices developped over the last 5 years, it might not be the worst of all solutions to have some money parked. Alternatively, trade the M6 for some nice M-glass.

The Ikon. Better viewfinder, easier film loading.

If it pains you to think about selling the Leica, keep it. If for no other reason than it will stop you from having to start searching for another one in a couple of weeks.

Love vintage Hifi, too!
I would not sell the M6. For one reason: Prices for the M6 are at the lowest point ever right now. They sell for less than 800€ sometimes 700€ or less.
So you would not get much. So, why sell?

Simple answer really...keep the camera that you use the most and enjoy using the most. From your posts, seems like that is the ZM.

Keep the Ikon, as you have been using it more.

I'll never understand why someone would be afraid to use a film Leica. Yes, they are expensive, but they're no more expensive than many digital slr bodies that are out now, and people have those strapped around their shoulders every day. I take my M6 everywhere, no case, just the camera strapped to me. It gets banged around occasionally, although, I do try to keep that from happening as much as possible. I dropped it once (only about a foot on carpet though). Everything still works fine. Ms are tough.
Also.. where I am, the Ikon costs about the same amount, or maybe actually more than an average M6 so I don't really understand your logic in this part.

Summary: I find I don't take the M6 out of the house that often. I feel like it's an expensive unit ... I don't want anything to happen to it. As a result, I've only run maybe 6 rolls of film through it in the past year.
The Zeiss, by comparison, is a bit smaller and lighter. I appreciate the electronic metering and bigger VF. Plus, this particular body is a real road-warrior. I don't care if it gets bumped or knocked around a bit.
