I had my Minolta Dimage Scan Multi Pro working under XP using Dimage Scan V1.1. Last night Windows did about 60 updates to the OS and now I am getting error 4 all the time.
Has any one experenced this problem, if so how do I fix it. Any help greatly received

I run my Multi Pro with 64 bit Win 7 but I do use Vuescan. I just checked and Win 7 has installed all the available updates. And my scanner runs fine.
My guess (and only an educated guess) is that your problem is be unrelated to the XP updates. Microsoft certainly is not doing any significant updates other than patching new security issues with that operating system.
I suggest reinstalling the Minolta software driver as they seem to get corrupted for strange reasons.
