I've added lots to another thread about my 6x12 camera. Well, with a little help from this, I was able to adapt my 6x12 horseman back to accept 35mm film.
What this means is that using the Mamiya 50mm Biogon lens and 6x12 back I get 112mm of film exposed (horizontally of course, vertically it's the normal 24mm). That's a horizontal view of something around 120 degrees. So take the normal 35mm frame shot on a 50mm lens and multiply that by 3.2 and you've got one of these shots.
To create something new, buy a bunch of film and go on a trip with it is a terrible idea. There are all sorts of issues that could crop up that you couldn't predict. I tested the crud out of my 6x12 camera and got it working great but not with the 35mm adapter. But I packed it in my bag and flew to North Carolina to spend with my in-laws and shot 6 rolls with it anyway.

Because I've tested previous models against light leaks, there shouldn't be an issue there. But keeping the film flat is an issue. The 6x12 holder is obviously designed for 120 so it won't have any film guides pressing against the pressure plate to keep it flat. So I created my own:
Tomorrow I'll get my rolls back and will post some of the pictures.
