.....or OOPS, I THOUGHT the camera was loaded with B&W film and slapped a yellow filter on the lens...and it turned out to be color film instead. :bang: I guess maybe the solution is designating one camera as "B&W" and the other as "color". Does this still happen to you experienced shooters out there?

They do convert nicely to B&W tho....

I shot a roll of fireworks on my Yashica Electro GSN with a Wrattan 25 (dark red) filter on the lens one year. Amazing results. Well, no. All crap. That'll learn me.
 
Did this yesterday. I changed lenses on my color camera and never thought to check the filter. Shot the last 7 or 8 frames with an orange filter.

I recall an old kodachrome of some nuns dressed in white I shot with a 25A red filter- quite interesting. Yesterday's won't be.
 
I shot a few star trails/ mountain lit by moonlight pictures on Astia through an orange filter once.
The snow on the mountain looked... puky!
