I have never used a DSLR. By the time I accepted the fact that digital cameras were not gong away, Leica brought to the world the M8.
If I had been a pro, I would have used a DSLR for sure.
 
Sure, I just got a digital dinosaur a Nikon D2X to use along with my
Nikon S3, what choices this is what photography is all about.

No, not so far: for digital stuff, I have a Nikon P6000. For the rare bit of SLR work, it's an Olympus OM-2n with Sigma 21-35 zoom, usually bolted to a tripod or monopod.

I tend to use film and RF for B&W and a DSLR for colour. In regular use I have a Canon 5D (the original aka Mk I aka "classic" version) and a Canon 50D. I also have a cheap 2nd-hand Pentax K200D that gets used sometimes for digital with older Pentax MF lenses and a couple of earlier semi-retired Canon DSLRs (with essentially no resale value) that I sometimes lend to friends or take into dubious environments (dust, salt-spray and so on). I also have an EOS 30v body that sometimes comes along if I'm carrying Canon gear and think I might like to use film.

I have a Sony A99 that I use with adapted manual focus Leica R lenses and a couple of older Minolta zooms (when reach is needed). The A99 focus peaking/magnifier makes focusing Leica R lenses easy.

My heart is still with rangefinders. I choose them whenever they can handle the job. M9 and M2 are my main shooters.

I had that lens in the 80's, when it was the latest thing. I saw one at KEH for Olympus recently - did you get that one? Either way, cool! Some of those were my best pictures... or maybe it was just the times. Maybe my favorite lens, ever!
 
Nikon D5000. It was reasonably priced, had a tilty-swively LCD screen (useful for ground-level or overhead hand-held photos, sometimes), and felt good in my hand. I've since added a used D70s as a second shooter, because it was dead cheap.

Most certainly and without regret. Nikons. Cameras are tools of the medium and if one type of camera is better suited for a task than another type I have no bias. I also have several rangefinders and pro video gear.
 
No. I've done my own b&w and color film and print development for many years, which is fun and easy, so I've never had the urge to use a digital camera.

That is to say: I've touched it exactly twice this year (since Jan 1st). One was for a shoot I did for someone, the second time because I was taking pictures in the archive (I'm a historian to-be). I really want to get rid of it though, but I don't know what I want instead, because I want a digital body...
 
I have a Nikon D300 that I got for the more technical stuff I do at work, which is mainly documentation of instruments and repairs. It pretty much lives with a macro lens on it when it's in the shop. We're going to be doing some videos, so I'm looking at a D7100 for that job,and to replace the D300.

I bought a Nikon over Canon because of N's support of legacy lenses, since most of my shooting outside the shop is on film, with old bodies. Since I'm not a zoom guy, nor much for auto anything, that's an important issue. I've got a complete set of manual lenses now for which I paid less than a lot of people spend for one fancy AF zoom.
 
Canon 1D MkII and Canon 5D MkII.

The 1D I used as my first foray into digital, and that was fun, but after a while I went back to shooting film.

The 5D was more for the video capabilities. I did however force myself to only bring the 5D on my last photo outing, and I didn't really have that much fun with it. I do like it for night photography though.
 
I don´t use DSLR´s although i had film slrs like the canon t50 and 10s film cameras as well a leica r6.2...and the last was a canon 5d.

I found them so difficult to focus and i don´t use zooms...anyway all ones i had were excellent machines...nothing to complain.

So for now i´m happy with the m9 and the sigma dp2 merrill....and zeiss glass...
