That's a very sweet looking ride Blindrobert
Here's couple of mine. Photo taken last night. I have spare bikes just like I have spare cameras.

I used to always ride with a Ricoh GX200 but my daughter begged me for the Ricoh so now it is the iPhone 4. Wish it were different.

Very interested in this thread as I'm going on a cycling tour of Puglia, Italy in a month.
So far I'm planning on carrying my camera in a small waist pack I got from EMS that will hold my M4-P or my E-P2 depending on which one makes the trip. Don't want anything on my back to make me sweat and only need room for one camera with lens attached and if the Leica, some film.
I've done the hip pack before and it seems to work well.

Eastern Mountain Sports. Mine is an older and slightly larger version of this one:

They used to make small, medium and large and now it seems like they only have small and large. However I bought my wife this exact one and it fits an M4-P with a 35mm Summicron attached or an E-P2 without a problem. Not too conspicuous or German Tourist looking (sorry Germans, we wear ugly clothes and bright white sneakers and you love your hip bags) though with a hip bag you can't really avoid that.
Chrome makes a nice one too, if you want to get all hipster but it doesn't come with a waist belt:

I've been thinking of simply getting a camera stabilser like the Optec one for better accessibility. http://optechusa.com/stabilizer-strap.html
But I can see a couple of potential problems.
One is: Sweat/humidity between you and the camera back.
Then there's also the issue of: What if it rains?
