Only have 1 that I've had for 45 years- the M2 silver. Will never part with it.
I had it CLA'd by Youxin in 2013 and it will last for years and years. The camera
is one of my favorites and I enjoy it with the 50/f2 Summicron.
Lots, a IIIA, IIIC, IID, two M3 chrome bodies, two black paint bodies, a silver M4, black paint M4, an M4MOT, and an M6TTL... There may be another one I forgot about lurking in a bag somewhere...
I bought another black SL2 that is thoroughly beaten up. Mucho dents and so worn that the lens mount need replacement, but the meter works, is accurate, and the prism is clean. This SL2 is an ugly one, but it is cool.
My M3 and the other film cameras have become a small "History of Fifties Photography" exhibit atop my dresser. Now happily banging away with a Sony a200 DSLR and my old Minolta AF lenses.
Haha cheers. So far my M2 "feels" the best in operation (film advance lever etc), however I prefer using the M6 due to the practicality of the inbuilt meter. The IIIa is a good conversation starter as people are surprised it works it's "so old". I probably won't end up using it very much as the other cameras feel more practical. The MD-2 I will pair with a wide angle skopar I have on the way.
