Raid,

You are tied with me at 5 Leicas.

With only 50 votes it is interesting to see a 40/10 split in the poll which translates into 80% own at least one Leica. Many own more than one.

Let's see if 80% remains as the votes add up.

Raid,

80% was reached very early on and statistically has remained stable. %0 votes was a pretty small sample.

Yes, the 80% vote stayed stable among the voters. It is difficult to estimate the Leica ownership among the non-voting members.

I have an M3 DS w/1mil serial, but I'd love a digital Monochrom.

50 DR Summicron, 50 Radioactive Collapsible Summicron, 90 Tele-elmarit thin.

No meeting has been set yet. He will take over Leica AG as CEO in April. Then only is he allowed to address questions from us.

-> Two more Leica lenses here....happy.

I'm also seriously looking at NEW summarit lenses. I hear the build quality is a bit lower than traditional, but the optical quality is...well...up to modern Leica standards. Sounds good. My wife made the atypical comment about the benefits of purchasing new with a solid warranty. Well then.....😉

New additions to our home:
- Summicron-M 50mm f/2.0 v.4 black "tiger claw"
- Summitar 50mm f/2.0 LTM chrome Ex++
Quite different time periods of Leica, and quite different optical quality/performance, but both are simply "Leica" in every way.

Got an M8 about 3 months ago after 10 years of mainly using Nikon DSLRs - can't see myself going back to a DSLR in any hurry and the M8 does everything I need it to do despite being 7 years old. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the on/off switch gets switched off accidentally (or put into "self timer" mode). I'd like the option to shoot 14 bit raw in "normal" rather than "service" mode as well.
