I'm happy to see I'm not the only Leica hoarder 🙂. I have only 26 bodies (and a few more lenses). Only film cameras from a 1929 I to IIIa-syn conversion to a 2001 M7 😱

Wonderful cameras owned by this group and some nice collections. As for me I am out. I recently traded my M8 and M9 and some lenses for a pair of Rolleiflexes. Just can't shake that medium format love...

That's where I am right now. There are too many fantastic MF cameras out there for me to justify spending a whole lot on 35mm.

The only real 35mm system I'm invested in is my Nikon FM, F3 and the glass that meets it.

Maybe one day, if I have enough money to not care about the expense, I'll dip my toe into the Leica M series.

I have owned many bodies and lenses over the years and have managed to hang onto some. Currently I have a M-6 Classic, 24 Elmarit Asph, 35 Summicron, 50 Summilux, 90 Elmarit-M...never a digital body...too expensive...I've a Pentax K-3 for that. All Leitz was purchased by the late 90's.

Unlike my Leica lenses, the number of bodies is under control: IIIb and M4, both chrome. I think of them as best-of-breed. 🙂
