Do you ever have a hard time deciding on the day's camera?

Sometimes I am preparing for a wonderful day of photography. You look at all your little loved ones and just cannot choose which one to shoot with. I hate this. Also I find I am a better shooter when I just stick with the same body and even the same lens. But alas I am a fickle friend.🙄

Oh, I never had a problem with this. I can always choose the right camera for the day. I do sometimes run into the problem of choosing a lens (or three), as selecting the right focal lengths is difficult ... 🙂

My problem lies with figuring out HOW to take it with me. I lack a wide selection of bags. Since I commute more than I drive, and I have to carry a heavy backpack full of books, laptop or tablet, and other stuff, I usually have a hard time figuring out how to take my camera of choice along with me without it becoming a burden.

Never. Whatever's handy and I feel like using. If it's not handy, I'll either look for it or (if I'm not that fussed about using it) use something else.

Cheers,

R.

although I have a choice of 2... I sometimes just go out with 1 lens, 2-3 films in pocket and I'm done. thats why I love the 28 and 50 focal length

I have the trouble of deciding what one to take since i inherated 3 new ones maybe 2 months ago and i want to try them all out. They will all be with me on this weekends camping trip 🙂

Not really. Generally, I know what I'm shooting before I go out. If I'm doing environmental portraits: the Leica M3. If I may want to do more close-up work: the Pentax Spotmatic. I try to pick the right tool for the job. Of course, sometimes opportunities will come up that do not fit the equipment, but I try to ignore those. 🙂 No such thing as a perfect situation.

Not really, I don't own that many cameras right now (3) and they're all quite different, so what I need is easy to decide on.

That reminds me, I need to buy more cameras.

Not a problem when looking for something to grab as I head out the door for the day...
I can just grab what's sitting there check it for film and go...
My problem in choosing comes when I'm going to be traveling far from home and have to pack what I believe will be the best gear for the trip...if I'm going to carry it, I better be using it...

Seldom, as I'm one of those people who tries to plan ahead - mainly because, if I don't, it'll end up being a bad day. Weekends are too precious to waste even a moment.
