Do you have stuff that you own but haven't used?

Yes, I have a Master Technika 2000 that sits at home. I am lazy these days and don't shoot often 4x5 large format. I have been shooting mostly with my M7 lately

I have more gear than I need. Over the past year and some, I bought quite a bit as my photographic pursuits have been changing quite a lot. I used all of it a little bit, at least.

Now that I've figured out what I am going to work with, I'll be selling a good bit of it.

I have just purged most of my gear. I used to have medium format, panoramic gear, 35mm digital and film, plus multiple lenses for each outift.

I have slimed down to 1 digital camera, two 35mm film cameras and 5 lenses in total.

I found that I used to spend more time trying to figure out what format, what lens, what film etc to use than actually shooting.

I think it would be beneficial for me to use one camera and one lens for a while, but I am not prepared to let go of anything else.

you mean...other than exercise equipment?

:D

Never used? No. Seldom used? Sure. That 135 lens, A Contax G 28, a CLE.

I got the 135 for a particular project, which seems finished, but I may return to. Not much tied up in it, so it stays. The G28 was a bargain, I throw it on a G2 every now and again when I want more flash power than the Ricoh GR1 or Nikon 28Ti can muster. The CLE for that Rollei 40/2.8 and a 28 when I want to travel light.

A Robot camera hangs around here. It has jammed and that is the reason it just stays in the cupboard. One of these days I will repair it...

Well, yeah, I have a number of cameras that I own, enjoy, and have yet to use...and I have no issues with that as they still give me enjoyment. And one of those was seen before me by you at a camera store in Ottawa....

I have GS (Guilt Syndrome), great equipment I don't use (enough!). I'm waiting to trade it in on more good stuff.

Almost all my gear :( I'm away from home (yet again: why can't I get work in Sydney?) and so away from most of my photographic equipment. :( :(

...Mike

Yes; including the Thornton Pickard Imperial with twisted and useless metal struts, dessicated bellows, comprehensively smashed front standard and terminally broken up lens, all acquired as a "restoration project" during an episode of psychotic optimism in 1987.

Plus about a dozen modern cameras which work perfectly, and maybe three times as many accessories...

Regards,
D.

I bought an unused M6 TTL (never had a film in). I thought I'd get back into film but I have realised that I really like digital. I should sell the M6 but have not 10 months later...

I started to stockpile my unused/unwanted items in a box next to the office desk at the beginning of the year. It was a new years resolution to thin out the gear. I will get around to it next week....

Wait a while; you are bound to be needing a New Year Resolution in a few months.
