Do You Still Shoot RF Cameras On A Regular Basis?

I shoot my Retina IIa a bit but probably shoot my Mamiya 6s the most. I still have a Leica M4 and expose maybe two rolls a year through it.

These days I shoot DSLRs for work and mostly a Nikon F2 for myself.

Recently bought a Mamiya 6 so spending some time with it. Occasionally take the Yashica Lynx and the Argus C-3 for a spin. I also tend to use one for several months then pick up something different.

Almost exclusively Leica M since 8 years. I got used to the quirks like inexact frame lines or lack of depth-of-field preview. However, for me the best compromise of a camera easy to carry around and having good low-light capabilities.

Yes, Leica M4 and IIIc mostly. Well, mostly the M4, because M4. Although I do have a couple of lovely Kodak Retinas currently loaded with film.

In that I am solely digital, I shoot my M9 most frequently and my two Fuji wannabes quite frequently and my RD1 rarely as it's pretty old and I baby it. I have a DSLR that I actually took some pictures with for the meteor shower but in the last year that's all. So the short answer is yes.

I also don't like seeing stuff in th viewfinder that I've already decided I don't want in the final image. That's a major issue for me. When you work with a rangefinder, you never actually see the picture you're getting. You see past that, and I never understood how that could make people feel good about what they were doing. It's not like that with any other camera type. Makes it unique, but not beneficial to me.

So great was the draw of the lenses and the legacy.
But, even during that time, i used other cameras primarily. EOS and Nikon and Contax 35mm, 5D digital, and Hassy/Mamiya/Pentax medium format.

I tried to like rangefinders. And, initially, i tried to embrace the 'differences'/quirks in using them. But, then, maybe i just 'grew up' a bit and decided they were getting in the way? It was never the way i wanted to see/work — they were vehicles for all the amazing glass i wanted to use.

Leica M6 is my day to day camera, with a D750 getting about 10% of the use, usually when I go on a trip but can't be arsed to carry a huge bag of film about.
