Summaron Leitz Leica 35mm 3.5cm f 3.5 Lens
Shoot panoramic images or portraits of your entire family, within a single frame, using the Leica Leitz Summaron 35 mm F/3.5 wide angle camera lens. This Leica camera lens’ 35 mm frame balances image brightness in bright-light situations, to produce clear pictures. The A36 filters of this Leica wide angle lens can easily be detached, to change the light effect. With a maximum aperture of F/3.5, this Leica camera lens produces sharp and bright pictures, in any lighting condition. Being a single reflex lens, this Leica wide angle lens gives the photographer an exact view of the to-be-shot scene. Having a screw mount, the Leica Leitz Summaron 35 mm F/3.5 is kept steady, with a fixed focus, allowing you to reproduce a blur-free shot.

I just googled the entire text and got a full match. It is copy/paste from the standard eBay description. He should rather be considered a plagiarist. :)

This explains why the shots from my M mount Summaron are always blurred! Should have got the screw mount ;)

It's time ebay realised just how stupid those descriptions seem to anyone other than a robot! Copying such rubbish can only detract from any faith you might have in the seller.

Well, isn't it true I can shoot panoramic portraits of the entire family in a single frame? It's a very special lens you know.

BTW, If anyone wants to trade their shaky M-mount Summaron for a rock-solid thread mount version, drop me a line.

But what if your camera does not have a panaramic switch.??

Wow and I thought my 24mm was the lens to get the whole family on the couch at once .So much for my lens knowledge:eek:

Robin is dead right. No serious buyer would take a second look after reading rubbish like that. It's laughable really.

Who said a buyer needs to be serious?

It only takes two clowns to get prices to skyrocket on ebay, that's the beauty of the thing :D

I asked my dad where the brownie was focused. He said no need to focus as it was universal focus.

True story

Aren't dads great? They can come up with the craziest things and say them to you with a straight face, and if you are a kid, you will believe them.

I love that- Universal Focus. I think I will use that for a name on one of my galleries on my website. Thanks!

This just proves that anyone that drops the big bucks on a Noctilux is out of their mind. An f/3.5 lens works perfectly in any lighting conditions giving a sharp and bright picture. That's got to be why consumer-oriented, entry-level DSLRs come with a kit zoom lens that starts at f/3.5; it's all you'll ever need!

I like that it's being a single-reflex lens. That would be handy. I could put it on any old body and not have to worry about parallax any more.

What will they think of next?
