I have a monochrom m9 type that shows 892 acuations using an online tool ,
it shows the serial number and other data from the camera using the last shot DNG file , the former owner sent it in to leica nj to clean the sensor and check the camera over before selling it . he said he didn't use it much as he had an m9 also,
I've shot about 640 with it over the year I owned it .
maybe someone has an answer
those of you that had yours serviced , did they reset the shutter count to 0 when servicing , or is total shutter count preserved ?

The numbering continues, probably a few numbers added while testing... shutter count is not reset.
