i shuffle/waffle back and forth between 35mm & 120 & 4x5. most of the time, the mamiya6 wins out. for me it's the increased information - mainly the wider contrast range of the larger (than 35mm) negative - and the square format.
i can live with - aaaarrgghh - the approximate 1meter minimum focusing distance, "battery dependence" - i'm also dependent on film - but that topic is a w-h-o-l-e 'nother subject/topic/thread, the "delicate/almost unrepairable winding mechanism", and having only three lenses to work with.
i do carry my oly xa almost all of the time...and am thinking about a yashica t4 zoom as an alternative/replacement. pocketable, auto-everything zoom & flash.
for me, going back and forth between cameras and/or formats helps me re-boot/refresh my way of seeing...and that's a good thing. 🙂
