Domke bags in Vancouver

Most shops don't stock them here. The reason I'm told is the Canadian supplier sells them to the retail stores at the same cost as U.S. retail. So by the time the store orders it, stocks it and marks it up the price is too high, and if they try and match U.S. prices they lose money.
I'm 100% for shopping local but our stores are screwed over by their own supplier in this case. I would wait for a used one in the RFF classifieds. They always pop up!

I happened to ask about Domke inserts today* at Beau and they will order them; didn't ask about prices, but it's unlikely they'll have a better deal than any other Canadian outlet.

* Open 6:30am-6:00pm during the Olympics!

That what I heard from Beau as well. I eventually ordered mine on Amazon.com and picked it up in Point Roberts.

try photocan on ebay. they are canadian but operate out of both canada and the states. often times they have an item in their american warehouse and move it to the canadian site and the buyer does not have to pay any customs etc.
they have domke inserts and had domke bags but that seems less so these days.
