I kind of like the looks of it in pictures. Whether I'd like it if I saw it for real is another matter; and whether I'd want one is still another.

If the bag needs to be water resistant, I like the idea of spraying it with Nikwax, as noted above; or maybe Scotch-gard would do the trick.

Update: I saw a ruggedware F6 in the store. I like it !

Agreed, it is a fine looking bag! The Scotch-gard thing may or may not work on a waxed bag but the makers supply an ointment for periodic re-dressing.

The only question I have is does the "wax finish" that was mentioned about being rubbed off leave a residue on the gear or anywhere else?😕

I have an FX3 Waxwear with no issues of the wax rubbing off everywhere. I've dragged it everywhere in the sun and rain, all through the summer in 100 degree heat. It's a pretty tough treatment.
