I've been using this bag everyday for the better part of the last year. It's held up quite well. Nicely made for a knock-off, I think.
Clone A&A Bag
that IS a nice looking bag and looks like it would be easy to use...

Agreed ... except that it's black and has (ugh) Velcro. If they'd include the camera, I'd reconsider.

one nice thing about velcro is that it inhibits theft from behind. how could someone get away with trying to lift the flap quietly?
i like that the gear can move into and out of the bag easily, or so it seems.
i am tempted and would have pulled the trigger if i had not just bought the crumpler 5.
tho i am thinking of selling on the f6 bags when my crumpler 4 arrives.
the 4 will hold my g1 plus extra lens.

Joe, you're right about the theft thing and velcro, hadn't thought of that. But with the type of cameras I carry, I don't worry too much about theft, there's always another OM and lens at home.
But it's a good point.
I was thinking more about street stealth ... zzzhhhhp! is not exactly non-distracting when you're trying to be covert. When I'm concerned about potential nabbing of the gear inside my bag, I keep the Domke's hardware clipped ... I can open it as fast as Velcro, and much more quietly.

i am a klutz with the metal hardware on the domke f6, i close it up when i am done for the day.
as for stealth on the street...i am 5'10" and 275, bald with a full white beard...my only hope for stealth is hiding a camera under a santa suit in december.

ROTFLMAO! "You say Velcro, I say clasp ... let's call the whole thing off."
I'm not very stealthy either, but I try.

Well-known
I am another who likes to pounce about with my gear in a A&A Evans Walker. It fits an M and 3 lenses and meter, notebook, film etc well. It is also way less "fly fishing bag" than the Billinghams IMHO. I've had no chance to try Domke.

Speaking of fly fishing bags, I had never realized how just how fancy many of those things are until I did a search yesterday!
Sadly, a lot of the nice ones are almost as much as their fish-cum-camera bag Billingham brethren
