PS. Ko.Fe I think is Russian and very knowledgeable. In slavic languages, and I presume this is true of Russian, a person or the OP (original poster) is designated masculine from a grammar point of view, so the use of 'he' likely stems from that and is only incorrect in translation....

My two cents, people should do whatever they feel like doing, including moving into high risk areas, as long as they are willing to accept, and deal with the consequences of their actions.
