i have sold one of my rd1 bodies to a fellow canadian...
to a good guy, a student who was trying to decide between an x100 and the rd1.
tough decision, i know...
it feels a bit weird, having only the one body...but many folks have only one body...several cameras perhaps, but only one of each.
so, new times for me...i am liking the x100, especially that lens, it feels more comfortable each day...the hardest part is getting used to the automation and not having the simplicity of the rd1.
i have yet to figure out the balance of when i use which camera...for now it is 100% x100.
wish us both luck!!

I just had to return a new X100, because it was faulty. Still awaiting the refund from the seller (it will reach him tomorrow). What I saw looked really god. Oh, and I think the student will be satisfied!

Cheers, Joe! Thanks again.
To all, I'm the student
Sold my DSLR after months of not using it...used it one last time last week, and after shooting my M3 it was just too big! I think I'll like this a little better.

I concur. Such a nice camera. I wish i could replace the sensor as time goes on and keep everything else the way it is.

Whenever you want to use something other than a 35, it'll come in handy.
