So, you might have changed your mind on your shortlist now then? Just wondering if you have pulled the trigger on anything yet.

Yes, my 50mm still needs to go because I'm not using it and all others lenses are sold. It is not critical, I have some single lens film cameras to use for fun.
I made decision, which lens to get instead. I don't want to waste forum members time on me. I hope lens will make it here and working one. For now it is all I could tell. 😉

Yeah, no worries. I know that to 'normal' people the drawn out, lengthy debates about things like lenses might seem odd but we've all been there. I love watching the whole process play out and I have been down these roads before myself, MANY times! 🙂 I have a 50mm I don't use much but need to keep it. Oh well, I'm sure you will give us the final ending to this story in your own good time. Hope it's a happy one for you!

Two days ago I have sold last lens which was in use at M4-2 (The only Leica camera I have). But I have placed the order on the previous day. For the Lens. And...
It was delivered this morning. The package was submitted in South Korea on Jan. 27th and delivered by 29th morning in Canada...
I hope it is the working one.

When you live two miles out of yellow knife heading towards Moose Jaw
It takes about three days for the package to reach room temperature .
Don't want any condensation or internal fogging I guess .

I'm sure even with these first few crude quickly processed examples (HP5 @1600 as I do for indoors) you will figure it out in no time!
I briefly stopped at home to set the lens on camera and left with kids.
Checked exposure once we entered the building and was guessing for the rest.
Went to another place to pickup another kid. And at third place...
Busy and long evening it was.

It is new, in the box ... Summarit 35 2.5.
It was heavily discounted and I decided to take it. I can't afford new Leica lens in general and it was my only chance.

Nice... And probably excellent enough so that it's better in resolution than any film available for now. Congrats.
Ahem... f/2.5 is two-thirds stop smaller than f/2 already and one-third stop bigger than f/2.8 only... 😀
