Dreaming of a Canon 8 RF

Nikon brought us the S3 2000 and the SP 2005, Leica brought the MP out. How about Canon bringing back a Canon RF body? The Canon 8 would be great with TTL metering, M mount, and in black.

I know the chances are slim to none (well, very slim to none) but we can dream can't we?

If they really wanted to go wild, make two versions:

1. The 8F for film

2. The 8D for digital full frame. M mount.

They might as well make the 50mm 1.4 lens while they were at it in M mount.

If they didn't implement some stupid mount (M mount would never make it past their team of moron market strategists), it would be an epic camera.

I'm going to assume Nikon could bring back an S model and some S mount lenses because they still had some tooling around.
It's not like they had any real R+D or engineering to do.

Canon has to start from way below the surface in order to even float a concept much less engineer, build, and then sell it for a profit (or possibly just as a marketing stunt).

It's a fun idea though !
