Here's a pretty neat way to keep the camera secured while moving around. Anyone have one of these straps? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRxQMMTp9GY

I guess if you have a large, heavy camera that is ergonomically uncomfortible this strap makes sense.

Huh?

filmtwit: Please accept my apologies for being new to this forum. Do YOU have a strap solution to recommend? I'm looking to BUY a wrist strap and shoulder carry idea but without the strict limitations of the Black Rapid product and all the other knock-offs. Thanks experienced poster with 495 posts!

OK, but the strap does look interesting.
But the video doesn't tell us where to look. Found it here.
Does look interesting. You can never have too many camera strap solutions.

Ya know.... I saw the original post back a couple days ago and didn't get a chance to post my comment before the post got deleted (and rightly so, it was only an advertisement by the makers of the strap masquerading as an actual thread) - the only comment I would have for whomever here is the maker of this strap - if you expect people to believe that your strap can withstand the weight of a "heavy" dslr, I would hope that you would choose the model for your strap to be someone who doesn't look like they lift heavy weights regularly
Strap looks interesting but there are many out there to compete with - good luck with your venture.
Cheers,
Dave

What happens if you're leaning over and it unclips, jogging up steps and it unclips or kneeling to take a hip-level shot and you drop the camera? hmmm...

I'd prefer the average Joe. A regular guy/gal like most of us.Macho Arizona/California man is pretty cool though I guess.
Mr. Cool in an ad turns me off. I don't need more commercials "telling" me how cool I'll be if I have such-n-such product.

Actually the thing looks like it just might work, for some people. Good luck in your search for the perfect camera strap solution.
