while cleaning up my way too large basement camera area i clumsily pulled my om mount 35/2.8 lens to the ground (with the strap of the om2n)
there was a loud noise when the lens hit the concrete floor but there seems to be no damage done to the tiny lens.
maybe it hit the attached rubber hood though it sounded like metal to rock in my head.
i might need to look at some plush carpeting for down here.

I wouldn't be afraid of that. I'm not so careful with my zuikos or my camera. They're purely user cameras for me, I bang them around. Great system have to say
