I agree, I had problems with watermarks and decided to buy a squeegee. What a mistake. I had no watermarks but rather a cornucopia of streaks and scratches. I find the best results are had with a good final rinse of distilled water and perhaps a wetting agent, and placing the film in either a recently wet bathroom or dedicated film dryer. I haven't a dryer so I'm still often stuck with a small hair here and some specks of dust there. The hair is surely coming from the towels. Not to mention, I began using distilled water with the squeegee so the lack of watermarks may be a result of distilled water rather than the squeegee, which really leaves it an overpriced pair of tongs with some rubber in between.
