Just got mine in the mail. I bought it because it is a nice toy and a cheaper alternative to a polaroid back.
Will post some images once I start putting it through it's paces and figure out how to optimize the output in LR.

Years ago, in the video/filmmaking world, someone did this same thing with creating a mount (Arri PL) for super expensive motion picture camera lenses, and had them focus on a ground glass screen, and then created a mount so that cheap camcorders could be attached and you could videotape the images off the ground glass. I think they even created a spinning shutter so they could videotape at 24 fps. "And it was just like shooting film with an expensive motion picture camera!"
Was a stupid idea back then, seems like a stupid idea right now.

It gave no budget film productions a chance at getting 35mm dof on a cheep camera body with a slight loss in sharpness, the spinning ground glass was so as to not record the texture of the ground glass. It was a tad cumbersome but worked. didn't know they made one with a spinning shutter.

I hope there is a manual mode. Well if it is under $300 it would be still cheaper than the screen adapter. I am a 100% film user so the back will only serve as preview. Nevertheless I think this is a good idea for general use.
I tried it on the SWC. Not a win: the optical match between the Biogon 38 and the Hasselnutz back projection screen is terrible. Example:

It needs a re-do of the back projection screen and the transfer optics to work well with this camera. Stick with the ground glass back...

I've been spending a lot of my time trying to create a good photographer to attach to the back of my film cameras.
Maybe I'm going about it all wrong.
