I'm sure it's been discussed somewhere already, but I couldn't find it via search so I'm posting this simple tip just in case. (sorry if it's a re-post)
Hold the built-in flash like this, use remaining fingers to block the light escaping to the front (flash unit can be tilted 90 degrees, but the front glass is not facing straight up).
Then you'll have a handy TTL bounce flash for quick indoor use.
With tilted buit-in flash

Yeah, I hardly ever use flash, but it sure become handy when I'm shooting something for classifieds or ebay. I kinda wish they made this by design (light completely facing above, clicks into this position) so I don't have to block the escaping light or hold the flash.
