I received my first rejection letter this morning:
We appreciate your offer to lend your Contax camera for display at the George Eastman House, but as we happily have 4 examples of the first Contax in the collection we will decline the offer and say "Thanks!"I have mixed feelings; both disappointment and relief. I have a few more options...however I may end up putting the first dent in it after all
Sincerely,

I used to haunt the Eastman House when I lived in Rochester in 1995, it's nice to know (i assume from your comment) he's still there 25+ years later.

I do not know Todd or anyone there. I was just making a smart-ass comment. I spent lots of time in Rochester but never visited the Eastman House.

Todd is a Great Guy. We’ve emailed back and forth on a few things, met him first 25 years ago learning Wet Plate from Mark Osterman at the GEH.
