I am flabbergasted this camera exists! 130 years old. Very cool.

Impressive. Kodak was the edge at one time. They had a good product that they were bringing to market. A cautionary tale for all tech companies, or any company.

I would love one of those! I remember having a school photo taken circa 1980 with a big wooden camera on a tripod that rotated, but my folks were too skint to buy a print.

I've not shot with mine in a while. They're cool, but a little awkward to operate.

Really should dig it out again

Love that, Mr Flibble, perfect subject (speaking of which, we are going to the Shuttleworth Collection on Sunday, which I suspect is already on your radar)!

Is that somewhere in England, or an old (ie not reclaimed) bit of the Netherlands? It looks very English, but I've never spent time away from new landscapes when I'm over there.

I've not been in the UK since Brexit, but yeah, would love to return to Duxford air museum and see Bovington and the Shuttleworth Collection.

This photo was taken in 2016 at Bateman's House in Burwash, Rudyard Kipling's home. During the World War 1 weekend there.

Don't really blame you, I'd quite like to have not been here since then as well! Shuttleworth is incredible, totally different atmosphere to Duxford. I don't know if they still do but they used to do engineering days in the off-season where you could go round the workshops, look in cockpits, and talk with the engineers. We did one, and it was fabulous .

Very nice Rick! You know, here in New England, I have come across many turn of the century era panoramics of old town/city landscapes, Football Teams, Factory Workers, Staff, etc. in old Town Halls and antique shops. I wonder if this camera was responsible for those shots.
