I am a fan buying expired film in bulk, do you know any sellers on ebay that specialize in it? I used to have a few bookmarked but lost them.

NEVER buy from seller collect888!! This guy provided me one of my (very few) ebay nightmares. I waited 3 months, wrote about 40 mails. He finally added one roll of Pan-F to the shipment but that did not make a very bad experience better.

addendum: the worst was I had to leave a positive feedback because I was afraid to get a neg. retaliation feedback :-(
-btw I know that's what makes the ebay feedback system useless in a sense, but what else should one do in such a situation?...

and all was well- fast delivery, great film.

Watch out for those offers - esp. on chromes - very often they are not worth it! Here is a good example: http://cgi.ebay.com/10-Elite-Ektachrome-100-35mm-12-2006-Slide-Film-Bonus_W0QQitemZ150099003634QQcategoryZ74919QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The BIN price is $27.95 for 10 rolls of 24 exp. of Elite Chrome.

The price per shot comes out to be about 12 cents (for film that expired in 12/06) - you can buy fresh Elite Chrome from B&H for $3.69 per 36 exp. roll which comes out to be about 11 cents per shot.

You effectively pay more for old film - not a good deal in my book!:bang:

True, this is not uncommon with eBay store auctions, and it takes a wise shopper to see it's a bad deal and pass. I think there are manywho just get caught up in bidding fever and lose sight of the basic value. Given the general risks and hassles of eBay, I generally won't pay more than 75% of the price I'd have to pay elsewhere more reliable like B&H etc.
