eBay Sellers to Avoid

I figure a thread of bad ebay sellers may be a good idea. Feedback is good, but it can be incomplete, especially regarding cameras.

What prompted this is a very weird and unprofessional response I got from a "power seller" on an item.

There was a Leica IIf for sale, it had about 2 days left and a couple bids at to about $65. The description seemed pretty reasonable although it showed that the seller didn't know that much about cameras. I asked about the shutter but figured not everyone may know how to operate a barnack leica. So I ask:

Does the shutter fire well? (You should be able to wind the knob on the right and then fire the shutter release.) If you want to set the shutter speed you have to do it after it is wound. Try firing it at all speeds. Also try it after unscrewing the lens off and watch the shutter curtain move.​

So he ended the auction and write back:

WTF? Really? That's from a "power seller."

Perhaps I should be wary of someone with the username, wisetheclown.

Anywho, I wanted to vent my confusion and obviously nothing was lost, so I am fine. I figure I'd let people know about an unprofessional seller to avoid.

If y'all know of sellers to avoid, why not list them here.?
