I cannot imagine why anyone would ever be ticked off at Ebay.

Very unusual for a site of that size, where its own economic interest would seem to demand putting significant resources into maintaining a stable presence. Every minute will be costly for them -- and possibly for customers. I wonder how they will respond to those who had auctions ending imminently, where last-second bidders couldn't bid at higher and higher prices.

No problem here. I have been on eBay almost continuously for the last two days. I have been listing a number of cameras, and already had two good sales on one day listings yesterday. Have a number of others, and I can say that numerous accesses by me for the last few hours have experienced no problems listing, selling and getting my money.

I do about 75% of my sales on ONE day listing, with good pricing and good listing definitions, and 530 feedbacks at 100%.

I have never seen a burp in the eBay site, Always UP and very effective. I love the site for what it is doing to enhance my semi retirement income.

In fact, I teach eBay community education classes at the local Community College about three times a quarter.

So, I do need to find out about this. No problem here.

I noticed this. Were walking down the street and wanted to put control bid on a 35mm folder for the sake of trying one and got reply page can not be loaded. After minute tried again and it loaded, probably a bit slower but still very reasonably. Someone bid more, for the record.

Maybe that water main break took down a server. Oh wait, that was yesterday. Nevermind.
