ECN-2 film scanning

I continue my experiments with ECN-2 film. I tried it in C41, in E6, in traditional BW developers and now I tried in RA4. I noticed that whne scanning it is not possible to use digital ICE (dust removal) when developed in BW developer. Fine. When developed in C41 dust removal was working just OK. But now I noticed that ICE does not work also for RA4 development. Is there an explanation for this? I used Nikon Coolscan and Silverfast.

I have no idea what happens with RA, but if you bleach the silver image, then fix it, you should not have a problem with infrared dust "removal". If you had bleached and fixed the film developed in b&w developer you should have been fine. Maybe RA blix is weaker than film bleach and fix left some silver image.

OK, I guess the RA4 blix is different. It is recommend to use C41 bleach and fixer but I just used the one from RA4 - it must be the cause. Thanks.
