i have this lens in both black and silver. i think LLL is a gift that keeps on giving for those of us love M cameras and pay whatever the going rate may be to own one (or several) -- but aren't so indoctrinated by the Leica mystique such that lesser Chinese knock-off lenses aren't just fine and dandy. i also have the 50mm SP II which is pretty sweet too.

LLL seem to have good ethics (if I understand, when they copy a vintage lens they make sure the parts aren’t interchangeable with the original), good quality and give great images. I don’t have one yet as I prefer my lenses with grit, snot and haze but that’s just me! I keep looking at them but there is just TOO MUCH CHOICE!

I just checked. Only new lenses. I got mine through a fellow on eBay in Japan. This fellow: Security Measure He was good from end to end on the deal and I got the lens in a few short days. And he has a sense of humor. What more can you ask?
