Electrical tape hard shell for M8/M9/M for protection in harsh conditions.

Thanks Menos.
Here's another one for y'all:
If you don't like the camera deciding to switch the screen on or change your settings you can make a very inexpensive buffer to guard the buttons.

*Take a cotton swab (preferably the plastic shaft ones, the paper ones will eventually come apart & get nasty) and cut the cotton tips off.
*Cut the swab shaft as long as the control surface back of the camera from the top of the PLAY button to the bottom of the SET button.
*Find your obligatory roll of strong double-sided tape (I use 3M outdoor rated tape as it seems to grip amazingly and hold in many temperatures & humidities)
*Stick the plastic piece to the tape then cut with scissors or a razor blade a strip that is just thick enough to match the thickness of the shaft and keep it on the back of the camera.
*Remove the second side of backing of the tape from the now adhesive buffer piece & stick it to the camera.
*Enjoy not turning your camera screen on, playing photos and changing modes as it bumps against your side.
(Could we have a sticky thread for practical M8 modifications like this? Are there enough modifications out there to rationalize a sticky?)

Have fun,
Phil Forrest
