Just got my Yashica Electro GSN ... very nice RF for the price ...
Question is - at what maximum shutter speed does the yellow light come on ? 1/15 ? 1/8 ?

Also of note in the cameras I have sampled the red light comes on at around 1/250 rather than the 1/500 suggested in the manual. I think the designers played it safe and left a one-stop buffer there. That means that if you want the highest shutter speed you will need to jam it one stop into the red or in racing terms--redline it! ...Rogerjcr said:... very nice RF for the price ...

Many people have shot slides with their GSN's. I kind of doubt the system could be a whole stop off.
It isn't a stop off, it is just using an exposure setting with a shutter speed less than 1/500. I used a Sekonic handheld meter and calculated the shutter speed required for my chosen f-stop.
