I have a coated 3.5 5cm Elmar enlarging lens (Leica code DOOGS) #805426. Anybody knows if the lens cell is identical to that of regular LTM Elmars? Would it be possible to exchange the cells?
From the early 1930's Leitz recommended the Elmar 50mm f/3.5 as an enlarging lens. I think the DOOGS is just a normal Elmar specially mounted for use on a enlarger.
The collimation of the optical cell in the mount for a camera will be a bit difficult.
