Leica LTM ELMAR 9CM F4 Problem

Please if you can help me,
I just get my first LEICA ELMAR 9CM F4 and I can adjust the front apertur but for the focus adjustment stay in the middle at infinity even when I press or push the small button nothing happen the barrel looks is dont move any side .

OK, is it locked in the extended position (i.e., pulled out all the way)?

Thanks I try many time and you right when I pulled completely than turn to ear the clic, than I can make the focus ...is that normal, and when is lock is normal the barrel stay fix ?
