I was thinking I would buy Ligthroom as I have been using beta 4 and like it but when I saw that the sharpening tool had not been improved I gave up. If I have to go into PS anyway to do sharpening I might as well use it for other enhancements. I decided to give Capture One a try so I bought a Sandisk Extreme III card from B&H (it comes with an activation coupon for C1 LE) and then resold the card. Phase One is coming out soon with a completely new version of LE and this coupon is good for one free upgrade, it's a cheap way to get the current and new software. I shot a couple of test shots today with my Elmar-C 90 (attached) and am real pleased with the color I'm getting with C1. Also for those using Photoshop here is a link to a free sharpening action you may like to try: http://www.lonestardigital.com/index.htm
I should mention not all the Sandisk Extreme III cards come with the C1 coupon so ask before you put down the $.
Enjoy

tm,
I hear you on the sharpening thing however I like the way you Lightroom allows you to work color fast and to good effect. Question- did you ever figure out a way to save images in Lightroom larger then 240 dpi?
Thanks for the free C1 tip and sharpening link.
