With my still very fresh M10-P hanging on my belly, I've been making portraits of the people I meet. And then, I give them a print. If I can.Trying to make my photography relevant. Publishing on the internet is like the chinaman pissing in the Yellow Sea : it makes no difference.
The portraits are mostly rather bland; colleagues, friends, shopkeepers. They're in my gallery, if you're so inclined.
Sometimes, something special happens. Today, I went to get some cash for my monthly visit to my dealer, and this gentleman was at the cash dispensing machine before me. He asked if I was a photographer, so I asked if I could take his picture. I know, a banal passport shot. But I am still shivering, to have had the privilege to capture such kindness and trust. Nailed focus, too.
