Just like last year, I get to spend a few days in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. A nice respite from the Texas Summer.

First off, a couple shots from the famous Lombard Street, my daughter of course didn't remember the first time she visited this place when she was 2 y.o. Now a teenager, she was soaking the experience.

Then we went to the Yosemite National Park the next day:

Reminds me of an A. Bierstadt painting:

And after some climbing on the slippery stones:

After a brief rain, the clouds are amazing....

All of these images are truly stunning. Thank you for posting them. The B&W tones are beautiful! And the dynamic range of the images is great... especially in the Yosemite images. Is this film or digital? And can you say a bit about how you made them? Thanks.

Thank you Mike!

These are all from Sony A7 but using my old Zuiko OM lenses (24mm and 85mm both f/2).

The post-processing is based on my preference that I developed during darkroom days and is done using Nik Silver Efex Pro 2

Nice photos! IMO, San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There are just waaaaaaay too many people.

Yet we were able to find a secluded marina just north of the jam-packed Golden Gate Bridge 🙂 ... photos tomorrow.
