there was some alright photos there. However, all the ones shot on the mobile phone were terrible.
All the photos taken on the dslr were from nearby the police, so in a pretty safe place.. This takes a lot away from the images for me.
I was however, out in the riots in manchester (not rioting, just observing). I would never have taken a decent camera out with me, and I didnt see anyone else shooting in the thick of the crowds. As it was a very much 'steal what you can' vibe, someone whipping out an expensive camera would have no doubt been mugged.
I can appreciate the lack of decent images from inside the crowds, but the rest of the images dont really do much for me im afraid!
