Not earth shattering photos here but ones that I quite like, capturing the mood of autumn. Fuji Reala 100 in all cases (Leica M2, 50mm or 35mm lens)

All taken in and around Pevensey or Petworth, Sussex.

Nice shots Vicky. I particulary like nos 3 and 6. Rivers are such a draw in the landscape and I like the serenity ( appropriatley) of this one. Your last shot is very West Sussex ... - all that space.
I had hoped for trip out myself this weekend but a bad cold has put pay to that. I spent the day printing so aleast I have caught myself up somewhat.

Cheers

Chris

I like. Presumably taken on that little Downs hike you told us about?

I'l be over there next week so keep the weather as nice as it looks in those pix. :)

Hi Chris -- Hope you feel better soon! I was aiming myself to do some printing today but I have found myself writing instead but I do really hope to catch up on Monday somewhat. I really feel the latter captures what this part of the world is to me at this time of the year, It's my backyard and so very known to me but I love it!

Actually they're not! I haven't even started really scanning those, I have looked at them (projected) all and marked them off which ones are the best, but not scanned them yet. I'm hoping to start tomorrow! I'll do what I can for the weather *crosses toes and fingers!*

Its a very nice backyard to have. I haven't been done to the south coast for a few months but I like the W.Sussex landscape. I tend to head further west when I do head down that way as I have relations on the Hampshire coast

I have a roll of Fuji Velvia so I'm hoping I can get some time and energy to shoot tomorrow in the Chilterns.. hopefully

Cheers

I really like the last one (requiem for summer). Great composition, very pleasing.

Nice shots. Number one reminds me of home (USA though). Numbers five and six are very nice too. Of course the berry shot makes me wish for our garden when I was a kid. Thanks for all.

Lovely stuff, I particularly like nrs. 2 & 6. Composition and exposure on your shots are great. What I remember from growing up in England is the clouds! ;) I don't shoot color that much, but when I do it's Reala Superia. As you say it has very good latitude, and it seems to deal very gracefully with a wide variance in light.
