EOS lens compatability question!

Hey there I have a friend who has just gotten herself a EOS 450d (rebel) and wants to buy a 28mm 2.8 off keh.com. Im only familiar with nikon and leica gear, so can someone tell me if this lens will mount with rebel okay?

If it's an ef or ef-s fitting yes. FD, no.

which lens? You can mount most manual nikon, zeiss (C/Y mount), all m42, olympus OM and Leica R on EOS cameras with simple adapters.
