My wife's best friend's daughter graduated from college this weekend, and there was a several day celebration with family and friends that the wife and I attended. I was tasked with getting specific pictures, along with candids of the gathering.

do you find much difference between the m2 and the original m?
i's like to eventually get another body and i'm thinking the 2 might be a better deal than the new 3...

The two are almost identical; the 2 slightly focuses quicker but the shorter blackout period (the time the display blacks-out when you activate the shutter and returns for the next frame) is very annoying to me: the display still is briefly active AFTER shutter release, throws me off all of the time.
The 3 appears to be a drastic change, and it appears more like the M that Canon should have released first.

i had the original x100...great camera and lens...but i found the images looked less sharp when i compared it to the 23...

Just a quick note to say that after weeks of contemplation I have finally put my EOS M on ebay! (worldwide postage 🙂) Still not sure what will replace it though.....

robin, do you have the 55-200 lens?
that's a nice last shot...i think no matter what camera you get next the images will be just as fine!

Nope, for long lens subjects I use the EF-S 55-250mm on a DSLR.
