Dear all,
Would like to ask your advices on something that i do not understand.
I had a lot of troubles in finding a way to scan my 35mm negs with my epson 4490.
I only shoot B&W.
The best way that i found is to scan in color scan mode, 16 bit, 2400dpi and then, inside photoshop, i use channel mixer, levels, exposure (the same process that i do with my digital frames to translates it in B&W).
What i don't understand is on the same roll, some of my scans turns yellow and others turn red !!!? Why ? How a color scan from a b&w material can create color ?
Please find below 2 raw scans.
It seems that on the yellow ones, i can work on them more easily.
I know that the 4490 scanning machine is not the best but it's the best that i can afford for the moment and i am just doing scans for sharing not for printing.
Thanks in advance for your help.
All the best
